Our Philosophy

To provide a warm and caring environment that encourages the children, through direct and indirect learning, to develop as individuals and as members of the community.

To promote confidence, self esteem and independence in the children and for them to appreciate and be confident in their own culture with anti-bias curriculum.

The learning should be satisfying, challenging, stimulating and fun.  The activities should be developmentally appropriate combining both active and quiet, planned and spontaneous, small group and individual activities, indoor and outdoor, with children able to make choices.

The environment is to be safe for the children physically, emotionally and socially.
